Born and raised in San Antonio, Kip Gilliland is a fifth-generation rancher whose Texas roots run deep. That heritage combined with a passion for preservation and commitment to craftsmanship inspired Gilliland to form Group KG Historic Renovations and Remodeling. With more than 30 years in the industry, Gilliland has a unique understanding of the history of the city, and the importance of maintaining the integrity and aesthetic of a neighborhood. Creating and restoring homes and buildings to their former glory with minimal disruption to the existing landscape is at the heart of every Group KG project. Gilliland and his team take into account the natural and architectural style of each area to create structures that blend effortlessly into their surroundings, using original and repurposed materials whenever possible. Creativity and attention to detail abound with milled trim and custom cabinets built on site. It's a dedication to preserving the past while looking ahead to the future and a home that will stand for future generations.
